Artificial turf roof terrace

A Green Oasis

Whether you own the whole high-rise building, an entire floor, or just have one apartment – everyone can benefit from artificial grass.

Real grass is hard enough to maintain on ground level and it is obviously a lot more difficult when your lawn is many stories above the ground! Can you imagine getting the lawn mower out on the balcony 20 stories up?

Artificial grass is the perfect solution for high rises, roof top terraces, and balconies.  You can create your own little green oasis in the concrete jungle.

Artificial grass benefits

  • Very cost effective when compared against real grass and maintaining it
  • Looks just like the real thing
  • Artificial grass is durable and long lasting
  • Very little maintenance is required to keep the grass looking amazing all year round
  • No mowing ever, no weed spraying
  • No bald patches or wet puddles
  • Artificial grass creates a beautiful green zone
  • It allows you to bring the outside indoors; the grass can continue to under cover areas or balconies
  • Makes a serene, calm and peaceful retreat that is good every day of the year

Frequently Asked Questions

How is it installed on balconies and rooftops?

Usually by using adhesive tape or specialised glue to stick the turf to the existing floor, allowing for easy, quick installation.

Will the sun destroy it high-up?

No, most Australian-supplied turf is UV-stabilised to withstand harsh sun and heat.

What about drainage?

The backing is perforated to let water flow through, preventing pooling during rain. As long as the balcony or rooftop already has good drainage, the grass will be fine.

What if it gets too hot on the balcony?

Artificial grass may become hot on intense summer days, and running cool water over it will regulate the temperature. If you don’t have a hose, you can use a watering can.
